CONCERN

It’s a good day everyone. I come to you this morning with revelation that we are more than conquers. The storms have come and gone and we are still standing. There are many of us that may have a little damage but we are still conquers. We may have some bumps and bruises but we still have won. You better give some praise to the one that created all things.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Father, it seems that sometimes it takes a crisis to unite us as a nation before we turn to You. When will we realize that we each need to include You daily in our lives in order to know that we can count on You in times of need. Help us each to continue to pray for all of the suffering families. Comfort those who have lost loved ones, and those who have been seriously injured. Help them to find consolation in the following verse : “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for You are with me; ” (Psalm 23:4) Thank You Father, for Your assurance and for Your help in our time of need. In the wonderful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Fourfold Description of Man
(Romans 5:1-9)

(v. 1-5) Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

“Without strength and Ungodly”

(v. 6) When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.

(v. 7) now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good.

“Sinners”

(v. 8) But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

“Enemies”

(v. 9) And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.

The death of Christ met this fourfold need. There is no other remedy.

Quote of the Day

I’ve often thought, I’m nobody. Why would God answer my prayer? But God’s not impressed by eloquence; he’s impressed by our longing for Him.
