As I awoke to get ready for this day, I received some spiritual food from two different men of God over Social Media. The thing about serving God is you must be able to understand when he is sending an angel to speak His word into your spirit. Through these two people, the Lord let me know the answer to some questions I have had in my spirit. I said all that to say this; be receptive to the word of God in your life. You never know who or what He will use to give you the answers you are seeking.

 

Today’s Prayer

Father, I come before you today on behalf of my internet spiritual family and myself. We admit that we have not always lived a “blameless” life. Please forgive us for that. We pray that You would make us people who live a life above reproach, one who is blameless, who keeps a good testimony and reputation. We want to become more like Jesus and grow closer to You every day. Thank You for covering us with the blood of Jesus, for forgiveness of sin, and for giving us a new life. We praise You, the most “blameless” of all, who is always good, full of grace and love. Have mercy on us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

In the Spirit

 

 Live in the Spirit, Walk in the Spirit

 

Galatians 5:25  

If we are living now by the Holy Spirit’s power, let us follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.

Pray in the Spirit

Ephesians 6:18 

Pray all the time. Ask God for anything in line with the Holy Spirit’s wishes. Plead with him, reminding him of your needs, and keep praying earnestly for all Christians everywhere.

 

Worship in the Spirit

Philippians 3:3  

For it isn’t the cutting of our bodies that makes us children of God; it is worshiping him with our spirits. That is the only true “circumcision.” We Christians glory in what Christ Jesus has done for us and realize that we are helpless to save ourselves.

 

Love in the Spirit

Colossians 1:3-8  

We always pray for you, and we give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all of God’s people, which come from your confident hope of what God has reserved for you in heaven. You have had this expectation ever since you first heard the truth of the Good News. This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace. You learned about the Good News from Epaphras, our beloved co-worker. He is Christ’s faithful servant, and he is helping us on your behalf. He has told us about the love for others that the Holy Spirit has given you.
