(CLICK THE TITLE) Good morning everyone. Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good yes He is good and worthy of our praise. I thought I would just give you a little feast on what the bible says about the love of God. Let the message bless you.
Today’s Prayer
Father, teach us that there will be times of concern when we need to turn everything over to You, to relax, and to trust it all to You — to “climb our watchtower and wait to see what answer You will give to our complaints.” Remind us that our weakness is Your opportunity to show use that Your strength is sufficient. Forgive us for forgetting that You never asked us to bear ALL of our burdens alone. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Let’s eat.
The Love of God, in Three Stages
Manifested
1 John 4:9
God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.
In the Sending of His Son; Commended; as set forth in the Gospel Experienced
Romans 5:1-8
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
In the Death of Christ Believed
1 John 4:16
We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
Quote of the Day
Let your minister be who he is – real. Let him be! Give him the latitude you want for yourself. Give him the same amount of room the grace of God affords you. Don’t force him into some traditionalistic mould.
