(CLICK THE PICTURE) Good morning everyone. As I sat here in my secret place, I was reminded to lean on the promises of God and everything will come out in your favor. Some of you that have not been a part of this internet family from the beginning may not know that I declared before God that anyone reading these daily meals is part of my house and everything granted to me is also given to my house. (It will hit your spirit in a moment).
Today’s Prayer
Father, if we are to truly serve You in our daily work, help us to see a need and to fill it. Let us seek to know Your will for our lives, to set goals, and to assess the consequences of our decisions. Remind us that we need to spend time in Your Word and in quiet meditation; only then can we recognize the guidance of Your Holy Spirit. Only then can we confidently trust the future to You, as You lead us step by step, one day at a time. Thank You, Lord, that when we walk closely with You each day, You are glorified and we are blessed. Help us as we strive to be faithful. In the wonderful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Let’s eat.
You and your house
Noah
Genesis 7:1-4 –
When everything was ready, the Lord said to Noah, “Go into the boat with all your family, for among all the people of the earth, I can see that you alone are righteous. Take with you seven pairs—male and female—of each animal I have approved for eating and for sacrifice, and take one pair of each of the others. 3 Also take seven pairs of every kind of bird. There must be a male and a female in each pair to ensure that all life will survive on the earth after the flood. 4 Seven days from now I will make the rains pour down on the earth. And it will rain for forty days and forty nights, until I have wiped from the earth all the living things I have created.”
Cornelius Invited to Salvation
Acts 11:11-14 –
“Just then three men who had been sent from Caesarea arrived at the house where we were staying. The Holy Spirit told me to go with them and not to worry that they were Gentiles. These six brothers here accompanied me, and we soon entered the home of the man who had sent for us. He told us how an angel had appeared to him in his home and had told him, ‘Send messengers to Joppa, and summon a man named Simon Peter. He will tell you how you and everyone in your household can be saved!’
Acts 10:22 –
They said, “We were sent by Cornelius, a Roman officer. He is a devout and God-fearing man, well respected by all the Jews. A holy angel instructed him to summon you to his house so that he can hear your message.” 23 So Peter invited the men to stay for the night. The next day he went with them, accompanied by some of the brothers from Joppa.
Jailer Hearing of Salvation
Acts 16:31-34 –
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.” And they shared the word of the Lord with him and with all who lived in his household. Even at that hour of the night, the jailer cared for them and washed their wounds. Then he and everyone in his household were immediately baptized. He brought them into his house and set a meal before them, and he and his entire household rejoiced because they all believed in God.
Quote of the Day
I suspect that if we saw the difference even the tiniest of our prayers make, and all the people those little prayers were destined to affect, and all the consequences of those prayers down the through the centuries, we would be so paralyzed with awe at the power of prayer that we would be unable to get off our knees for the rest of our lives.
