DON’T JUDGE OTHERS 10-23-24

We are at the start of another wonderful day that the Lord has blessed us with. The question now is what will you do with it? Today’s message is a reminder that only God sits on the judgment seat.

Today’s Prayer

Father, there are days when we are busy with living, snatching little time to praise You and to count our blessings, as we are caught up in our world. Help us even then to pause and realize that this same day may be dark and tragic for someone else. Let us stop and pray that we may be an instrument of Your healing, always mindful of our brother’s needs. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Do Not Judge Others

Matthew 7:1-6

1 “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.

2 For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.

3 “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?

4 How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye?

5 Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.

6 “Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.

Quote of the Day

If a man wants God to hear his prayer quickly, then before he prays for anything else, even his own soul, when he stands and stretches out his hands toward God, he must pray with all his heart for his enemies. Through this action God will hear everything that he asks. ~Abba Zene~
