Good morning everyone. This is the day the Lord has made. We will REJOICE and be glad in it. It’s mid-week and the spiritual order of the day is prayer and reflection on what this week signifies for those who are saved.
Today’s Prayer
Father, help us be aware of Your presence all about us — in the beauties of nature, the smile of a child, the handclasp of a friend, the love of our family. Let us not take a “vacation” from this awareness. Your love surrounds us. Help us come alive and reflect Your love, that others may see You in us. In Your name I pray, Amen.
Let’s eat.

New Living Translation
James 5:13-16
Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
Quote of the Day
What significance will the cross have in connection with the crown? If anything is true, this is true: there will be nothing in heaven that does not have the mark of the cross upon it and has not passed through death and resurrection.
