Good morning and rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. Give Him the praise He deserves. We have come before Him this morning seeking wisdom and He supplies it.
Today’s Prayer
(Make this your own prayer)
Father, it all happened on the cross, didn’t it? Even then, in the darkness of those hours – Jesus’ suffering, bleeding, dying, His separation from you Father — even then, He was thinking of me! … He died for my sins, for my diseases, for my healing, and that I might never have to know separation from You. … Help me to live that I may be more worthy of His sacrifice, and thank You for Your promise of victory in my life! In The matchless name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Let’s eat.
Wisdom from the Proverbs
New Living Translation
Proverbs 4:18-27
The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like complete darkness. Those who follow it have no idea what they are stumbling over. Pay attention, my child, to what I say. Listen carefully. Don’t lose sight of my words. Let them penetrate deep within your heart, for they bring life and radiant health to anyone who discovers their meaning. Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do. Avoid all perverse talk; stay far from corrupt speech. Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; then stick to the path and stay safe. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.
Quote of the Day
I believe that God created me, along with all creatures. He gave to me: body and soul, eyes, ears and all the other parts of my body, my mind and all my senses and preserves them as well. He gives me clothing and shoes, food and drink, house and land, wife and children, fields, animals and all I own. Every day He abundantly provides everything I need to nourish this body and life. He protects me against all danger, shields and defends me from all evil. He does all this because of His pure, fatherly and divine goodness and His mercy, not because I’ve earned it or deserved it. For all of this, I must thank Him, praise Him, serve Him and obey Him. Yes, this is true!
