(CLICK THE PICTURE) Good morning everyone. There are many in the body of Christ who may be having tough times (myself included). When I started thinking about my trials I almost fell into a pity party until I put my thoughts back on Jesus and His ultimate sacrifice on the cross my problems pale in comparison. How about you? Let the word of God bless you today and every day.
Today’s Prayer
Father, who doesn’t want freedom to pursue happiness, It’s our right as US citizens, isn’t it? Yet as we look around we find many whose ideas of happiness are for each person to ”do his/her own thing” ; be his/her own god, have sexual flings, use drugs, fly high! Then when they “crash” , can’t get it together, can’t work, runs out of money, gets sick with Aids — they ask, “Where is my government help, why haven’t they been putting more money into finding a cure for Aids, etc.? Lord, where are You, if You really are?” and Your response is “My child, right where I’ve been all the time, just waiting for your call. Why am I getting this bad rap? Why me? Because you wanted to be free! But there is nothing wrong with wanting to be free! No, except that with freedom comes responsibility; you didn’t accept responsibility, and you made the choices that brought you down. You chose to ignore My moral laws. I don’t tolerate sin, but I can forgive it if you sincerely repent, and change your direction. It’s your choice.”
In Jesus’ name, we ask You to hear the prayers of everyone who sincerely repents, wants to turn his/her life around, and accepts You as Lord and Savior. Amen.
Let’s eat.
Results of the Cross
Matthew 27:45-53 –
At noon, darkness fell across the whole land until three o’clock. At about three o’clock, Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” which means “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?” Some of the bystanders misunderstood and thought he was calling for the prophet Elijah. One of them ran and filled a sponge with sour wine, holding it up to him on a reed stick so he could drink. But the rest said, “Wait! Let’s see whether Elijah comes to save him.” Then Jesus shouted out again, and he released his spirit. At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, rocks split apart, and tombs opened. The bodies of many godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead. They left the cemetery after Jesus’ resurrection, went into the holy city of Jerusalem, and appeared to many people.

Quote of the Day
I am inwardly fashioned for faith, not for fear. Fear is not my native land; faith is. I am so made that worry and anxiety are sand in the machinery of life; faith is the oil. I live better by faith and confidence than by fear, doubt and anxiety. In anxiety and worry, my being is gasping for breath – these are not my native air. But in faith and confidence, I breathe freely – these are my native air. A John Hopkins University doctor says, “We do not know why it is that worriers die sooner than the non-worriers, but that is a fact.” But I, who am simple of mind, think I know; We are inwardly constructed in nerve and tissue, brain cell and soul, for faith and not for fear. God made us that way. To live by worry is to live against reality.
